Power problem in Bangalore

Karnataka Electricity Board or the BESCOM are not able to handle the testing effeciently .. frequent power cuts are always common in lux areas like IndiraNagar .. the worst affected are the lowcost areas around RT nagar, JP nagar, Ulsoor ...
sometimes the whole day .. sometimes the whole night .. nightlong power failures have security hazards.
Newspapers have cited this problem long back but BESCOM is not able to handle it still.
